Advertise display, sponsored content and partnership terms

An audience of American homeowners at the moment they are pricing a project, and a clear list of what we will not sell.

Scroll

Home Palais reaches homeowners at the point of highest commercial intent: the weeks between deciding a project is necessary and signing a contract for it. Readers arrive researching what work costs and leave knowing what to ask a contractor.

This page sets out what we sell and, more usefully for both of us, what we do not. If a proposal falls in the second list, it will save time to know before you write.

Display advertising

Display advertising

Display inventory on Home Palais is sold programmatically through a premium advertising network rather than direct. Advertisers reach the site by buying through that network, and placements are reserved in the page layout so that ads load without shifting the content around them.

For direct campaigns above network scale, write to us and we will tell you honestly whether our traffic justifies the conversation yet.

Product review

Submitting a product

You are welcome to send a product for consideration in a buying guide. Doing so buys consideration and nothing else: not inclusion, not a rating, and not a place in a ranking.

We do not accept payment for a positive review, we do not publish manufacturer-written copy as editorial, and we do not guarantee coverage in exchange for a sample. Where a product we were sent appears in a guide, that is stated on the page.

What we do not accept

What we will not sell

This list exists because the offers below arrive weekly in this category, and because the site’s value to a serious advertiser depends on refusing them.

  • Lead generation of any kind. No quote forms, no phone or ZIP capture, no embedded lead widgets. This is the site’s founding constraint and it is not negotiable at any price.
  • Undisclosed paid links, or link insertions into existing editorial presented as organic. Every paid link is marked as paid.
  • Editorial control. Advertisers do not review coverage before publication and cannot have a published guide changed or removed.
  • Placement in comparison tables or buying guide rankings. Those positions are earned on merit and are not for sale at any price.
  • Anything requiring us to misstate a cost figure, remove a competitor, or drop a caveat that protects a reader.

The audience

Who reads Home Palais

American homeowners planning residential work: roofing, siding, windows, HVAC, kitchens, bathrooms, solar and the rest of the fourteen project categories the site covers. They arrive from search, at the research stage, with a project already in mind.

The site publishes no pages targeted by state, city or ZIP code, so it cannot offer geographic targeting on its own inventory. Targeting is available through the advertising network in the usual way.

Current traffic figures and a media kit are available on request. We would rather send you real numbers than publish flattering ones.
